Lee Fish
Lee's company, Fish Food, launched its first store in Livingston in September 2005. This store in the prestigious Maingate development of Team Valley marks is one of a chain of seven for Lee's business. "This is a key link in providing our business with increasing scale from the central belt of Scotland and now into the North East of England. It is one of a further five outlets in the planning for us" says business owner, Lee Fish.
Fish Food, which now employs over 75 full and part time staff in Scotland and North East England, has won the prestigious "New Store of the Year" Award for 2005, "Best Store Sales Award" and "Spirit of the Brand Award" for 2006. Fish Food are now Development Agents for O'Briens in the North East of England and are responsible for developing the brand by opening new stores and recruiting new franchisees.
In addition to traditional sit in, the outlet also provides a takeaway service where orders can either be made up when you drop-in or can be faxed or phoned-in in advance and made up ready for speedy collection.
Fish Food also operates a comprehensive office and outside catering service throughout central Scotland and North East England which serves hundreds and thousands of people every day. This provides a wide variety of platter options to serve the many requirements of business in the area, as well as private occasions, catering for five people upwards.
Free refrigerated delivery will take the outside catering to the heart of the local community.
New from O'Briens is the remote coffee cart. This is a stand-alone unit bringing O'Briens into the workplace so that employees can enjoy the freshly made coffee and sandwich experience that O'Briens have become renowned for.
A new arm of the expansion is into in-house catering where Fish Food is about to take on its first catering unit in Edinburgh and already has one lined up for opening in Newcastle and is on the shortlist as prefered suppliers for five more. A brilliant way to bring a premium high street brand direct to the workforce.
