We simply refuse to compromise on quality by using cheap fillings, as we know our customers expect the very best from O’Briens. But we still offer exceptional value for money.

Our sandwiches are freshly prepared in front of customers, so they can see exactly what is packed into their favourite selection, whether Shambos – shamrock shaped foccacia bread, WRAPPOS™, bagels or baguettes, all delicious hot like our TOOSTIES™. Our own premium reserve coffees, waters, traditional and speciality soups and snacks are the best available and complement a growing range.


Offering customers 100 per cent made to order real fruit juices, smoothies and iced drinks, our hugely successful juice bars turn food into theatre.

We’ve gone organic with our milk and hot meat. Premium organic Irish beef, pork and ham are served freshly carved and piping hot – a mouth-watering temptation with alluring aromas.

Presentation is just as important to complete the quality offering. What better than a little shamrock dusting of chocolate on top of a cappuccino to remind people of O’Briens’ heritage?

Next to offering great food comes a great environment in which to serve it all up. That is why store design is one of the most important facets of the O’Briens operation. In fact, it is a key ingredient in the pulling power of our retail operations.

And it is as equally important to staff as it is to customers, so we like to create a home from home atmosphere that is a lifestyle choice for many but, most importantly, comfortable and enjoyable for all. The concept spills out of the stores through our coffee carts, delivery vans and bikes.

In order to keep the ambience contemporary and meet the demands of today’s ever-changing way of life, we are never afraid to introduce new ideas. We have done exactly that following much research into our market.

Exciting new stores have been developed, while maintaining our high standards for quality fittings - from worktops and serve-over units to décor and lighting. Deep walnut wood married with a warm colour scheme, complement the finishing touch - wall ceramics individually created by Irish artist Orla Kaminska.

No matter what developments we make, we will always ensure it is a welcoming environment any customer would prefer.
