O’Briens Sandwich Bar, Ennis, is proud to announce that the store will be actively participating in the Clare 10K (Move with the People) on Saturday, June 23rd 2007, by sponsoring two water points at the event. Proceeds from the run will go to Clare Haven Services, which provides refuge accommodation and support to women and children experiencing violence and abuse in their homes.
The first water point will be outside the Auburn Lodge Hotel, on the Galway Road, with a second station positioned on the Lees Road. Staff from the O’Briens store will be on hand to provide refreshment and plenty of moral support for the brave participants! They have been busily preparing all week for the event, expecting to provide almost 400 litres of water for the thirsty joggers.
Kathleen Ryan, owner of the Ennis O’Briens store, which is located on the corner of Parnell Street and Salthouse Lane, says; “We are delighted to be involved with the 10K and to be supporting such a worthwhile charity”.
