Beating
stiff competition from more than 110 outlets throughout Ireland,
Aoghus and Phillippa McGuinness
and their team at O’Briens Sandwich Bar, Liosban Industrial
Estate, scooped the prestigious Best Customer Service accolade
at the sandwich and coffee bar franchise’s annual international
conference in Dublin.
“We are over the moon that our team have won the award,
especially as we have just opened a second store in the city
centre near Roches Stores,” said Aonghus, who opened
the Liosban outlet in August 2004. “Not only has it given
us a real boost, it also recognises all the hard work we put
into delivering great customer service, including specific
training to help keep it all fresh. With our plaque now proudly
displayed in the shop, customers are equally delighted for
us.”
Aonghus’s
staff are undergoing customer service qualifications at the
moment, a training investment that is certainly paying
off.
Commenting on their
award, Phillippa said, “From day
one, we believed in hard work and held high standards while
our main strength lies in the development of our team. We would
particularly like to thank all our team members who have worked
hard to maintain our high service standards to ensure we have
a successful business.”
