14 Mar 05  -  O'Briens Launches New Concept Stores
O’Briens Irish Sandwich Bars, the UK’s and Irelands fastest growing sandwich and catering franchise, is set to lure lunchers, hungry for fresh & healthy food, to its exciting new concept stores. The stores will now come fully equipped with healthy and convenient juice bars which will be complemented by a range of extensive organic produce as well as O’Briens successful range of Guilt-Free Foods launched in 2003.

O’Briens is the only high street chain of its kind to offer consumers made-to-order healthy eating choices and the newly branded concept stores, designed by renowned branding and design industry leader Aidan Keane, CEO Keane Brands, the firm behind the redesign of the Virgin Megstore at the former Tower Records site in London’s Piccadilly, will reinforce this offering.

Served by friendly staff, trained to make the best sandwiches, O’Briens now offer more choice for the customer, as well as incorporating additional ethical ways of doing business – introducing a wider range of foods, ethically farmed, such as their new Italian Coffee containing a large percentage of Fair Trade beans.

O’Briens has also gone organic – with new deli dishes and snacks, while the tempting new hot Carvery offers eaters the alluring aromas of mouth-watering hot organic Irish beef, pork and ham carved to order.

Meanwhile, the new Juice Bars are set to shake up a fruity sensation, with made-to-order real fruit juices, smoothies and iced drinks. Select from a range of ten fruity flavours – from Strawberry Sunrise through to Sweet Chariot containing freshly juiced mangoes, oranges, pineapple and banana. What’s more, there are further additions in the Tossed Salads and Wrappo ranges for this spring and summer.

“The introduction of a Juice Bar into the stores is a natural progression for O’Briens. We have built our reputation on quality, freshness, made to order foods and the juice bar concept sits perfectly with O’Briens core values, healthy, quality and fresh,” says Brody Sweeney, CEO and Founder.

Now’s there’s even more reason to shun swallowing a boring packaged lunchtime sarnie. This year, O’Briens is set to revolutionise the High Street lunching experience, with 25 new stores planned in the UK and all 140 nationwide stores receiving rebranding, upgrade and refurbishment.

The contemporary new settings of the stores are set to create a warm and inviting environment in which to relax and enjoy O’Briens’ renowned made-to-order, healthy high street offer. Get fresh the Irish way, at O’Briens!
