O’Briens
Sandwich Bars in Coventry has just won a major contract to
supply the catering and retail contractor “Skypartners
UK Limited” at Coventry Airport with their authentic
Irish made-to-order sandwiches
This has provided the store with a huge opportunity, and is
set to increase business by 25% in 2005.
Kevin Guerin,
owner of O’Briens Sandwich Bars in Coventry
is thrilled with the new contract and has expanded to a purpose
built catering kitchen near the new Coventry Arena and employed
an extra four staff:
“I’m excited about this new venture and the opportunity
to be part of the exciting developments at Coventry Airport”.
To celebrate
the good news, the Coventry Store has invited the O’Briens mascot “Big Rory” to the store
on Thursday 17th March, St. Patrick’s Day, which is also
the store’s One Year Anniversary. There will be a local
promotion in honour of this day, as all sandwiches will be
sold for 50p.
Operations
Manager Emma Bullock of Skypartners says: “We
have a policy of choosing local suppliers and this year we
aim to spend in excess of one million pounds to work with these
companies. I am delighted to be able to add the quality of
O’Briens Sandwich Bars as an offering at the Airport,
especially as it creates good opportunities for other local
businesses.”
Kevin recently
won an award for “The Fastest Growing
UK Store” at the Annual O’Briens Conference in
Dublin.
The outlet is open from 7am to 5pm, Mondays to Fridays, and
10am to 4pm on Saturdays.
