10 June 05  - Christina Noble Takes Part in 200KM O’Briens Charity Cycle From Dublin                     to Sligo

Christina Noble is coming to the west of Ireland on Saturday 18th June to welcome those who cycled from Dublin to Sligo in aid of the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation. The annual event, organized by O’Briens Sandwich Bars aims to raise funds to help build 16 Gers (Mongolian Houses) and fund a girls shelter and a boys shelter in Vietnam for the coming year.

Christina is taking part in the 200km O’Briens Christina Noble Children's Foundation Cycle, organised by O'Briens Irish Sandwich Bars, the Premier Worldwide Sponsors of the Foundation, on Saturday 18th June, 2005.

Christina Noble is joined by CEO O’Briens Irish Sandwich Bars, Brody Sweeney, who is also cycling and over 150 O'Briens support staff, franchise partners, store staff, suppliers, families and friends.

O’Briens CEO Brody Sweeney called on franchisee’s, friends, family and number of services suppliers to travel over from the UK, and all over Ireland to take part in the event. The majority of cyclists will begin the marathon in Longford, with less experienced cyclists starting the cycle in Longford town and completing the second leg of the cycle the rest of the distance to Sligo Park Hotel, Sligo town.

“The people of Ireland, and especially the people of Sligo offer the Foundation continuous support. It is only through these individual donations and corporate sponsorship we can continue to make a difference to hundreds of thousands of children in Vietnam and Mongolia every year. I would like to thank the people of Sligo for their unfailing support, and I look forward to meeting the people of Sligo on Saturday”, says Christina.

“Over 150 cyclists are preparing for the cycle of their life”, said CEO Brody Sweeney. “The Christina Noble Children’s Foundation has touched the lives of over 180,000 children in Vietnam and Mongolia, and it is our chance to give something back by participating in the cycle”, says Brody Sweeney. “Please come out and support us as we cycle from Dublin to Sligo”, says Brody.
