10 Mar 05  -  Number Four For O'Briens
Following the incredible success of the first three O’Briens Sandwich Bars in Cardiff, a fourth outlet is set to open in Central Square on 16th March 2005, bringing O’Briens exceptional products and friendly service to an even wider audience. This is just one of the many new stores to open in the UK and Ireland this year, forming part of the worldwide expansion plan for the successful franchise chain.

Since the opening of her first store in May 2000, situated in Cardiff, Sue Roberson has enjoyed tremendous success with O’Briens Sandwich Bars, and is an excellent example of the benefits and accomplishments that one can achieve with a franchise. Now the proud owner of four stores in Cardiff, Sue is ever fulfilling her goal to develop the O’Briens brand in Wales, contributing to the ambitious expansion strategy for the franchise chain.

Combining a distinctly Irish modern concept with enthusiastic staff and an eating experience that is based on freshness and healthiness, O’Briens prides itself on being the friendliest place to eat. Over the last few years, it has built its’ reputation on its’ famous made to order thick bread sandwiches which are built to the customers specification, complemented by a range of delicious Irish products. This store will see a range of new exciting products being introduced into the O’Briens range.

O’Briens Guilt Free Food Menu recognizes the consumer’s need for accurate information in order to make an informed choice. O’Briens has teamed up with expert nutritionists to provide the most up-to-date calorie and fat counter of ingredients in O’Briens salads, sandwiches and hot drinks. The introduction of O’Briens specially blended coffee bean from Verona last year ensures customers can enjoy ‘the best espressos in town’, the basis for a wide range of coffee drinks.

O’Briens Sandwich Bars was Sue’s choice of franchise venture due to its exceptional product and professional management team. The high aspirations of the expansion plans were also perceived as an exciting challenge, and something that Sue was looking forward to being a part of. Susan says of her latest venture: “I liked the O'Briens concept of serving freshly prepared food in bright, clean surroundings and believe customers will love having their sandwich made in front of them."

Sue and her partner Dale have been appointed O’Briens Development Agent for Wales and have plans to Open another 20 units in the next few years
