Following
the incredible success of the first three O’Briens
Sandwich Bars in Cardiff, a fourth outlet is set to open
in Central Square on 16th March 2005, bringing O’Briens
exceptional products and friendly service to an even wider
audience. This is just one of the many new stores to open
in the UK and Ireland this year, forming part of the worldwide
expansion plan for the successful franchise chain.
Since
the opening of her first store in May 2000, situated
in Cardiff, Sue Roberson has enjoyed tremendous success
with
O’Briens Sandwich Bars, and is an excellent example of
the benefits and accomplishments that one can achieve with
a franchise. Now the proud owner of four stores in Cardiff,
Sue is ever fulfilling her goal to develop the O’Briens
brand in Wales, contributing to the ambitious expansion strategy
for the franchise chain.
Combining a distinctly Irish modern concept with enthusiastic
staff and an eating experience that is based on freshness
and healthiness, O’Briens prides itself on being the
friendliest place to eat. Over the last few years, it has
built its’ reputation on its’ famous made to
order thick bread sandwiches which are built to the customers
specification, complemented by a range of delicious Irish
products. This store will see a range of new exciting products
being introduced into the O’Briens range.
O’Briens Guilt Free Food Menu recognizes the consumer’s
need for accurate information in order to make an informed
choice. O’Briens has teamed up with expert nutritionists
to provide the most up-to-date calorie and fat counter of ingredients
in O’Briens salads, sandwiches and hot drinks. The introduction
of O’Briens specially blended coffee bean from Verona
last year ensures customers can enjoy ‘the best espressos
in town’, the basis for a wide range of coffee drinks.
O’Briens Sandwich Bars was Sue’s choice of franchise
venture due to its exceptional product and professional management
team. The high aspirations of the expansion plans were also
perceived as an exciting challenge, and something that Sue
was looking forward to being a part of. Susan says of her latest
venture: “I liked the O'Briens concept of serving freshly
prepared food in bright, clean surroundings and believe customers
will love having their sandwich made in front of them."
